A wife.
Next to this paragraph you'll find a picture of me and the love of my life. My #1 Supporter. My Biggest Fan. My Best Friend. This is Landon, my amazing husband. Together we have 2 beautiful little ones. We met in 2016 and there was never any doubt that he would then, and forever, be the love of my life.
A Mother.
The reason for everything I do.
The little loves that keep me going. Xander, my sweet little boy made me a mama in 2018. Xander never meets a stranger and sometimes I think that is not such a good thing. Nevertheless, my baby boy loves with his whole heart and I'm thankful he teaches me that kind of love every day.
That sassy little princess next to him runs the whole show. Her name is Raelyn and she is every bit of her mother's child. My little firecracker and the definition of a sour patch kid.
AND A MILLION OTHER THINGS.
Aside from the 10,000 hats I wear as a mom, there are many other things that I am. Above all, I'm a Believer. I love adventures and traveling and seeing new things. Photography and cooking are my favorite things to do. Oh, and watching Tik Tok wayyyyyy longer than I should. (Oops.)
MY BACKGROUND
I picked up my first camera as a junior in high school and it was love at first shot. While still in high school I was a second shooter for a lovely local photographer. She taught me so much in such a small amount of time. She made me realize there was a lot more to being a photographer than looking through a lens and telling people to smile. After graduation I went to NSU in Natchitoches where I studied both psychology and photography. I was dead set on being a correctional psychologist, but while minoring in photography I always knew where my heart belonged. Shortly into college I met the love of my life. And shortly after that he put a ring on my finger. After both our kids were over a year old, I jumped into photography full time, and stepped away from psychology completely. While I knew the chances I was taking, there is still not a single day that I have regretted that decision. I love my job so much. I have grown and grown and worked so hard to get where I am. I have two little faces that remind me every night why I won't give up. I love photography and everything about it. I had the privilege of capturing the most beautiful moments, and sweetest faces. I've gotten to meet people that I now call friends, not clients. I've held the hands of many brides as their nerves ran wild, and snuggled many beautiful babies as they fell asleep for their first pictures. I pray that God never stops blessing me with the amazing people I've had the honor of photographing; and if you've made it this far in my ramble, I pray that God blesses me with your trust as well!
